Series 1 – Tip Toe – Started watching: 6th June 2026
The first new series I’m watching, Tip Toe, is the new Russell T Davies show. Only 2 episodes in but I’m enjoying it so far. Suitably queer and lots of diverse, flawed characters.
The opening scene from the first episode shows how things will eventually culminate, with the episodes then working up to that moment, showing the gradual unravelling. Looking forward to the rest of the episodes being released over the next 3 days. Here’s a fun cast interview video by the BFI.
Update: Seen it all now. Excellent and well worth a watch.
Series 2 – Ride or Die – Started watching: 20th July 2026
Really enjoyable 8 part Amazon Prime series. Very British (in a good way) and all of the main characters were excellent. Great acting from Octavia Spencer, Hannah Waddingham and Ed Skrein. Some fun cameos too.
Series 3 – Ann Droid – Started watching: 10 August 2026
Another fun series. Can’t really go wrong with Diane Morgan and Sue Johnston. Recommended it to Hilde, and she also enjoyed it. At only 6 episodes it’s a quick and enjoyable binge.
