I love to enjoy and discover new music. Here are the 3 albums I’d previously never listened to before.
Loudon Wainwright III – Last Man On Earth
Awesome album. I already knew and liked quite a few of Loudon’s songs but hadn’t heard many from this album. The few song on this album I had previously listened to (just as standalone tracks) also take on added poignancy after discovering this album was written just after the death of his mum.
Bone Thugs-N-Harmony – E.1999 Eternal
Super 90s. Super talented. Brilliant background music to vibe to whilst coding or browsing the web. Standout tracks for me are probably 1st of Tha Month and Tha Crossroads (of *moderate cringe* Blazin’ Squad fame). 😂 Mo’murda also slaps!
Blind Melon – Soup
I’d heard of Blind Melon before but never knowingly listened to any of their songs. Quirky but actually really good and musically quite unique/different to other things I’m aware of. I suspect this would probably change as I listen more but, for now, I think my favourite tracks are probably Toes Across the Floor, Wilt, St Andrew’s Fall and Mouthful of Cavities. Fun band. I’ll definitely be checking out more of their work. 😊
